Come along to one of our courses to be held in the Reading Room, Llansadwrn and learn the tricks of the photography trade in one of the most picturesque areas in West Wales. View the Towy Valley at its best.
Run by Ric Foot and Gary Rudland, two local photographers, the course is designed to teach you how to exploit the full potential of your digital camera and to use Photoshop Elements to extend its capabilities to the full without spending a fortune!
As well as demonstrating some straight-forward photographic techniques to help improve your photography, Ric and Gary will be using Adobe Photoshop Elements throughout the course to teach you how to present your shots in their best possible light.
Ric and Gary have over 40 years of teaching experience between them and this combined with a maximum course size of six assures attendees a quality experience. At the end of the day, participants will take home their favourite shot, printed and mounted, along with a portfolio of software, tips, contacts and recommendations.
The standard course will start at 10.00 am and finish at 4.00, tea & coffee will be available throughout the day. Please bring your lunch with you.
If you don’t have your own camera or computer and would like to try photography before you invest in expensive equipment then come along and use our equipment at no extra charge.
Subsequent courses are also scheduled to cover other aspects of Digital Photography and Photoshop in greater depth. We also intend to respond to individuals wants and needs and course participants can arrange further individual tutorial sessions should they wish. Please do not hesitate to discuss your requirements with us.
Help can also be provided to maximise the potential of your existing photographs. Typical of this would be taking a holiday snap, enlarging it and printing it on canvas or acrylic. Restoration of old faded photographs is also a speciality. Commissions are welcomed.
